The Final Countdown

So under an hour to go to my first run, and my mind is in overdrive.
I've prepped 3 meals that I can whip up quickly when I need them, refilled the coffee machine and laid out my kit in the garden; which includes 12 t-shirts, as many longer layers as I could find, 3 shorts, 2 shoes, a selection of pants and socks, some snoods, my watch charger, my shoe dryer and some electrolyte drink.
It feels like I'm ready, but my leg was a bit achy all day, which I put down to a bit of pre-event nerves. I tried to sleep, but failed to get more then 20 minutes.
I'm also failing to remember why I thought this was a good idea in the first place, it was probably a couple of years ago I heard of the challenge and thought it would be beyond me, but I've worked towards this for a while now and one way or the other I'm determined to just do 4 miles, again and again and again.
I'm honoured to be able to have a schedule of fellow crazy people who are stepping up to do one each with me, Oleh is first up.
