This one felt tough.
The combination of it being dark, and the tiredness in the legs building up meant it just felt harder to keep myself going. A little less chatty, but we got it done.
I have coached Filipe on his running journey from Zero to his 2nd Half Marathon last week over the last 3 years, but this was a first for us as he was pulling me along and telling me how far we had left to go. In the past I was always the one making his plans, but during those years his consistency and efforts were always an inspiration for me, so it was an honour to get him to help me today.
He left saying "I'm glad you're only 48 once"
Stats: 7.08 km, 43:29, 6:08 /km
Tshirt: My souvenir from a Running Training Camp I did 2 years ago, it was an eye opener that you could go abroad, hang out with like minded runners, do really hard things every day and still have fun.
