Still having 'fun', this time with Garth - who's wife told him before he went for a pre-run nap that his friends are as nuts as he is.

I relived the memory from the first time I ran with my 'Sunday boys' group, I was nervous as hell and it was awful trying to keep in sight of the faster guys. Garth and I at the back, half way through he points to the left and says 'Short cut' - we jumped through a bush, ran through a car park and shaved off 30 meters from the run to try and keep in touch. We still finished ages after them, but I remember him looking after me that day.

No phaffing about, quick shower, stretch and straight to bed for a few hours
