The sun was out, the birds were singing, the legs were creaking and the wind was blowing.... but all in all that was a much nicer run then the last few.
I had the pleasure of Kathleen in my ear, doing her own Run/Walk in Melbourne in the 25C afternoon sun. She is trying to get back her running mojo after falling out of love with it, which is so easy to do when life takes over and motivation isn't there. Today we planned in doing a run together when I'm there in July.
For me, doing this challenge and giving something back to a worthy cause was a lot of motivation for me, but I'm starting to recognise that I would have completely given up by now if it wasn't for the support of all the people joining me as well as all the love and messages I've been getting this last day and a half.
Just another 4.4 miles, and then the victory lap to go. I'm gonna soak up all the Vitamin D I can in the spring sun.
Stats: 7.08 km, 44:19, 6:15 /km
Tshirt: My mum can buy some random tat when she goes on holiday, but one trip to Kenya she came back with a couple of running tshirts which are just lovely, so I wear this with pride today in her honour. She's a woman of strength and doggedness which I feel has definitely passed down through the generations

Hey Jit, looking stong, well done! And a genuine Kenyan running top, must have added a bit to your stride and kept the wind on your back 😊
